I thank God for Chief Master Minton. I began my training under him as a colored belt–in fact, I transferred to Indiana State University specifically so I could work with him while I was in school. I earned my 1st Degree Black Belt under him back in 1986, and have continued training with him through my current rank of 7th Degree Black Belt. I went through Leadership Training, Instructor Certification, became a school owner, and am now a candidate for the Sr. master class of 2020, all because of Chief Master Minton’s help and leadership. His personal example of perseverance and dedication has inspired me to learn how to lead others, and his help and leadership is responsible for much of the success I’ve had with Tom’s Fitness & Black Belt Academy and the new music ministry that God’s given me!

Our Martial Arts classes' primary goal is to make sure our students have fun in a enjoyable, safe environment. Come and see a class for yourself - we all have a blast and our instructors do too.

No, our classes are a good mix of men and women of all fitness levels. Beginners train alongside some of the more experienced members, helping each other out in a enjoyable team environment.

You will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your first class. One of our instructors will call you, or you may call the school directly.

Absolutely not. You will learn cool martial arts and self-defense moves, if anything you will learn how to AVOID fights, and defend yourself as a last resort.
